Christmas 2012

We had a GREAT Christmas at the Christensen's house! Here are some of our highlights.

We celebrated Jesus's Birth by having cupcakes. Cache was so cute Christmas night he said, "Mom I helped Jesus today." I asked, "What did you do?" His replied, "I blew his candles out because he wasn't here today." I tried hard this year to have it more about Jesus than Santa.

Denver trip

Marc and I took a trip to Denver to volunteer for the NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition. Thanks to my mom it was our first trip without the kids since having Macy (Thanks Mom). It was so wonderful to drive in the car and it be quite. We have been married 5 years so this was also our Anniversary trip.

Half Marathon

My Dad and I walked the Huntsville Half Marathon on Saturday. He has always wanted to do a half marathon and I needed some motivation to be active but I am not ready to run yet. So we printed off a training schedule to walk a half marathon. We followed it the best we could and we did it. The unofficial time was 3 hours and 57 minutes. We are happy with this time because we were shooting for around 4 hours. My feet hurt after the race but I was in too much pain. The day ofter my hips and butt hurt, and today I am feeling better. It was so much fun walking with my dad we talked the whole way. It is an experience I will never forget. Thanks Dad!!!

I am happy to say I now know what a real C-section is like, not an emergency. The delivery was so much better than with Cache. I was so scared but everything went great! I even got to see her right after she came out and Marc and Macy stood by my side until they were finished with me. My recovery has also been so much better this time. I was still in pain but I could lift my baby and get out of bed by myself. I am very grateful that my experience has been better this time. Macy is a wonderful baby and we are so glad she is part of our family!

The first time Cache met Macy. He wasn't allowed in the hospital. He loves her so much and is so cute with her. He always wants to help!

Cache's Newest Girlfriend

Our best friends in Tremonton Ricky and Whitney had their first baby Sophie Jo. Cache and I spent the day with Whitney and Sophie and Cache loved helping with the baby. We are so excited for them!
